Trypanophobia is the fear of hypodermic needles, and the 100 grain Hypodermic Trypan is just about the scariest broadhead Rage has ever introduced to the hunting woods. With its needle-like, streamlined titanium ferrule and 2-inch cutting diameter, the Trypan creates a slap-cut entry hole well in excess of 2.5 inches. Afterward, the Trypan’s .039-inch-thick razor-sharp stainless steel blades settle into a sweptback blade-angle configuration. These are the thickest blades Rage has ever used in a broadhead! Even though the blades are monstrous once deployed, they create only a 3/4-diameter in-flight profile.
The grey polymer Trypan-specific SHOCK Collar™ provides exceptional blade retention and consistently reliable blade deployment. The one time use SHOCK Collars are keyed to notches in the Trypan’s titanium ferrule, so they can never be put on incorrectly.

The Most consistent, Accurate, true flying, dependable Broadheads I have ever put in my Quiver! Give them a try....u wont regret it.
I've shot Rage broadheads for a long time now. They have always performed well. In particular, I believe shooting a large expandable helped me recover my buck from last season. My arrow deflected off a branch and hit the buck in front of the shoulder. The massive wound channel allowed did it's job and while the track job was longer than I had hoped for, the fact is I recovered that buck. I can honestly say I don't believe I would have recovered him if I had been shooting a small fixed broadhead.
these things are lethal! have yet to have a deer go more than 60 yards. put a new collar on and clean it up and go again.
The rage trypan is my go to broadhead for majority of my hunting. The Durability of these heads is unmatched for a mechanical broadhead.
Overall a good broadhead not as durable as the hypodermic or chisel tip
Rage for Life!
Devastating wounds, scary sharp blades, flies just like a field point, and does maximum damage. A blind man could follow the blood trail made by these broadheads
I purchased these Broadheads for an Alberta bear hunt this spring. As these were the first mechanical Broadheads that I have ever owned, i was a bit skeptical. After I shot my 325# bear, all I could say was “wow”. The hole going in was the same as the exit hole and the blood trail was ridiculous. This Broadhead is devastating and I can’t wait for deer season. The Broadhead itself held up fine and with a new shock collar will be ready for use again. I would definitely recommend this Broadhead to others.
