Axe Crossbows AX405
$999.99 $1,699.99
Compact by design, but colossal with its features, the  AX405 crossbow is best characterized as; Performance. Optimized. At a compact and maneuverable 27.75-inches long and 10-inches axle-to-axle (cocked) the weight of the crossbow is centered over the shooter’s hand by way of a balanced shoot-through stock and riser design and reverse limb system. This configuration empowers the most efficient part of the AX405 210-pound split limbs to deliver bolt speeds in excess of 400 feet-per-second, from just 13-inches of power stroke. A proprietary cam system is linked by cables that run parallel to each other, rather than from the top of one cam to the bottom of the other. This unique configuration eliminates cam-lean, limb torque and is further enhanced by an exclusive cable brace that engages the riser to aid in the limitation of flex away from the center of the crossbow. When combined, these features allow the string to move along the same plane throughout the entire power stroke. Unlike the one-piece aluminum rail concepts of conventional crossbow designs that rob speed, efficiency and bolt life, the stock of the AX405 eliminates the rail and utilizes dual carbon guide rods along the entire length of the stock. When combined with the shoot through riser and a roller rest on the bow’s front end these features create a free-floating arrow system that mitigates contact, friction and torque along the arrow’s entire path further enhancing efficiency, accuracy and speed output. Comes with a multi-range reticle scope with markings for 20-100 yards in 10 yard increments. Red/green illumination for different lighting conditions helps you see the reticle clearly. The scope features a wide field of view and is both shock and fog proof.

What can I say about the Axe405… Big Performance in a small package. This bull-pup style crossbow, shoots fast, smooth, quiet, and pinpoint accurate… It is well balanced and easy to shoot…! My hat go’s off to Feradyne for making a great crossbow….!
In the past I was a Pro Staff Shooter for other manufactures with the slide type bows. I can honestly say the engineering on this bow is the best I have experienced. Where others use a quad cable system, the AX405 uses one cable per side and balances the cam perfectly without twisting four cables to achieve zero cam lean. The crank system is the most user friendly in comparison. No levers, locks, just crank until the trigger box stops and load the arrow. Back crank releases the trigger and down the rail it goes for the next shot. This bow is rock solid and when shouldered it balances the best I have ever experienced. Accuracy? Better not shoot back to back or you may be buying more arrows. Before you buy another brand, go shoot this bow. Simply a gem in all ways.

This is the fastest bow I have ever seen.
The bow is great. Very compact and very fast. Three small issues are...it is a little on the heavy side, the arrow/bolt often pops out of the rest if not laying flat, and only takes the specific arrows/bolt from the manufacturer. It is otherwise a great bow and I would recommend it to anyone.

Yes To The Axe –
Great crossbow. Fast, accurate and compact. Love the micro diameter arrows.
5 stars all the way!!!

Bought this crossbow and have already shot multiple animals with it. It’s lightning fast, very smooth and accurate right out of the box. I had the sight tuned in after only three shots. Feradyne recommends shooting these micro diameter bolts at a hurricane storm 2 target, because they will shoot through a lot of other targets. Have shot the Ravin and these crossbows are better and about 1000$ less. Very happy with my purchase.

This bow has been a pleasant surprise! Compared to the other bows I have shot it is amazingly much more quiet. It is accurate and easy to cock and de-cock. The only negative I have found so far is the lack of lighted nocks and not being able to move the handle. The positives far exceed the two negatives! Give this bow a try!
