Rage Hypodermic Trypan

FEATURES:

  • 2 Blade Broadhead
  • 100 Grain
  • Hybrid Tip
  • Titanium Streamlined Ferrule
  • .039 Blade Thickness
  • 2 " Cutting Diameter
  • Trypan Specific SHOCK COLLAR™
  • 3 per Package
  • Super Swept Back Blade Design

Trypanophobia is the fear of hypodermic needles, and the 100 grain Hypodermic Trypan is just about the scariest broadhead Rage has ever introduced to the hunting woods. With its needle-like, streamlined titanium ferrule and 2-inch cutting diameter, the Trypan creates a slap-cut entry hole well in excess of 2.5 inches. Afterward, the Trypan’s .039-inch-thick razor-sharp stainless steel blades settle into a sweptback blade-angle configuration. These are the thickest blades Rage has ever used in a broadhead!  Even though the blades are monstrous once deployed, they create only a 3/4-diameter in-flight profile.

The grey polymer Trypan-specific SHOCK COLLAR™ provides exceptional blade retention and consistently reliable blade deployment. The one time use SHOCK COLLAR™ are keyed to notches in the Trypan’s titanium ferrule, so they can never be put on incorrectly.

    Hypodermic Trypan

Posted by JL on Nov 20th 2020

Absolutely the most impressive arrowhead I've ever used. I've now shot two deer with these heads - they open on contact with the hide, cut a massive hole, will punch through bone, and are really accurate.
Really top rate, I'll continue to use them.

    Devastating

Probably the most devastating broadheads I’ve ever used. Shot a doe tonight (10-28-20), hit her a little high, but the Trypan literally cut OFF the back lobe of a lung! I watched her pile up in less than 50 yards!

    Sharp and durable head

These tips fly like darts and don’t break blades. They penetrate great and seem to stay sharp. Only thing I wish they would improve is to make it a +P with a smaller cutting diameter and better blade angle

    Broad Head Wound Channel

Posted by James Hensley on Oct 20th 2019

I have used several different broad heads over the years and have found none as effective as my new Rage Hypodermic Trypans. The entry and exit wound of this broad head is massive. This broad head doesn’t leave anything to chance when following your blood trail. I couldn’t be more pleased with your product. Thanks

    Does it all

The Trypan is one accurate, strong, reliable broadhead I've shot several deer with these and have never let me down. Massive blood trails, strong, and fly like a field point. Give them a try you won't regret it.

    Rage has never failed me!

Posted by Stephen Robinson on Aug 15th 2019

I've shot Rage broadheads for a long time now. They have always performed well. In particular, I believe shooting a large expandable helped me recover my buck from last season. My arrow deflected off a branch and hit the buck in front of the shoulder. The massive wound channel allowed did it's job and while the track job was longer than I had hoped for, the fact is I recovered that buck. I can honestly say I don't believe I would have recovered him if I had been shooting a small fixed broadhead.

The rage trypan is my go to broadhead for majority of my hunting. The Durability of these heads is unmatched for a mechanical broadhead.
